Fed Up

Nov 16, 2018

0300 200 3603 called my mobile (that is TPS registered!): I didn't answer as I didn't recognise the number, and then I blocked the call. Glad I did now I've read some of the comments on a similar site to this one. Automated American accented female claiming to be from HMRC & saying there's a warrant out for arrest for the person receiving the call. How do these people get our numbers and then clone genuine numbers - and apparently get away with it. I thought HMRC were working on this problem?

0300 200 3609: If you take a call from this number just hang up. The recorded message tells you that the Inland Revenue are about to issue an ARREST WARRANT against you & will do so if you do not press 1. It is total ***, ignore it & do not worry about it at all. I do worry that older people may be conned with this & i hope that *** behind low life companies like this get their just desserts, i sure as hell would like 10 mins in a room with the foreign sounding scroats!!
